Max Silver Memorial Courtyard

The Max Silver Memorial Courtyard, on Prince Street next to the museum will be a place where patrons, visitors and the community can enjoy green space in the heart of town and will include historical markers, educational kiosks, an event gazebo, open space for gatherings and small intimate pavilions.

The next stages of development will include the construction of the hardscape features and implementation of the courtyard landscape design. Early financial support for this effort resulted in the purchase of the lot and the upfront money needed to implement phase one of the design plan (lot clearing) however the next phases of construction will require community involvement.

There are many ways for individuals, families, and local businesses to support the construction of the courtyard.  For more information, please contact director@ecmhs.org.
