We’ve got something that’s out of this world!  After applying for the program back in October, the Museum was chosen by NASA to receive an Artemis I Moon Tree! Mayor Roy Gladding, Ronnie Gill and Bud Smith from the County Board of Supervisors, Parks Director Kay Carlton, and several local students all helped to plant a tree that traveled over 1.4 million miles to be here (268,000 miles away from Earth). Thank you to everyone who came out to witness this momentous occasion. You can learn more about NASA’s Moon Tree program when you visit the Essex County Museum!
