“Prince Street Recollections” will open at the Essex Museum on November 12. This new exhibit, which highlights the history of life on Prince Street in Tappahannock, will combine historical photos, maps, and documents. There will also be a multimedia feature that will share the community’s memories and stories of businesses and community life on Prince Street through the years.

The Museum invites you to share your own memories of Prince Street as well as the stories that have been a part of your own family history. These “recollections” will be featured as part of the exhibit that the Museum hopes will add to the healing process as our community comes together after the devastating Prince Street Fire this past July.
